Award-winning composer/lyricist Landon Braverman takes to the piano for an intimate evening of his original songs and the stories behind their creation. Spanning musical theatre, cabaret, and pop, the evening features selections from his diverse catalogue alongside new never-before-heard material.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
LANDON BRAVERMAN is Brooklyn based composer/lyricist, originally from Vancouver, Canada. He is currently collaborating with Anna Jastrzembski on the original glam rock musical, The Rise and Demise of Zuke & The Electric Jukes, which was a finalist for the O’Neill and Jonathan Larson Award. It also played a sold-out concert at Joe’s Pub. His music has been featured at Lincoln Centre, 54 Below, NYMF, and the Chutzpah Festival. Landon is the Co-Founding Artistic Director of the Canadian Musical Theatre Writers Collective (CMTWC), a national organization devoted to supporting and promoting the work of Canadian musical theatre writers at home and abroad. He is an alum of the Graduate Musical Theater Writing Program at NYU-Tisch. He is a proud member of ASCAP and the Dramatists Guild.
